At Girls Action Network (GAN), we believe that every girl deserves the opportunity to realize her full potential and thrive in the 3S workforce: STEM, supply chain, and skilled trades. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to empowering girls, particularly those from underrepresented communities, to lead and excel in their chosen fields.
Our Mission: Girls Action Network (GAN) is committed to breaking down barriers and shattering stereotypes that limit girls’ career options. Through innovative learning experiences, self-awareness assessments, educational activities, and mentoring, we inspire girls to explore their passions and guide their own paths toward vocational and personal success.
How We Work:
Comprehensive Assessment: We administer technology-based and human-facilitated assessments to understand the vocational aspirations, skills, and abilities of our participants. Each girl receives personalized support to develop her individual educational and career plan.
Mentorship Network: Our network of GAN Champions for Empowerment and Opportunity (CEOs) provides invaluable guidance and support to girls as they navigate their educational and career journeys. These mentors serve as role models and advocates, empowering girls to achieve their goals.
Program Delivery: We collaborate with partner and affiliate organizations to deliver a wide range of programs aimed at broadening girls’ cultural, educational, and vocational awareness. These programs provide hands-on experiences and exposure to various career paths, helping girls make informed decisions about their futures.
