Kathleen Crenshaw is the Executive Director, Records Division at Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia. In this role, she oversees the Professional Development Bureau for the Metropolitan Police Department. Her areas of oversight include: Human Resources Development Bureau, Recruitment Division, Disciplinary Review Division and the Training Academy.  Kathleen also holds previous management and leadership roles within the Fairfax Public School System in the areas of Talent and Acquisition and Management.  In the State of New Jersey, Kathleen held the role of Director of Administration and Communications where she directed the administrative functions for the Office of the Child Advocate Serve as the first point of contact to all media outlets; served as the Public Information Officer/Spokesperson for the Office of the Child Advocate; fielded press inquiries; developed 24-hour KIDSVOICE helpline.  

Kathleen has served with Teach for America and gives back in her community through service. She has education credentials from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of North Carolina at Charlotte and George Mason University.
