Overview:
Mary Ann is currently employed as a Project Manager of Group Life Products for Prudential in Roseland, NJ. She joined Prudential in June 1997 as a Short and Long Term Disability Claims Manager. She was promoted to Waiver Of Premium Team Leader, responsible for several special projects and supervised approximately 15 individuals.

In 2003, her in-depth knowledge of management and analytical theories awarded her the opportunity to assist in the development of a new division. After the launch she was promoted to a Manager of Financial Analysis.

Prior to coming to Prudential in 1997, Mary Ann worked as an Account Manager for Procter & Gamble, first as an intern while in undergraduate school. Then as a full time employee upon graduating with a Bachelors of Science degree in Marketing and minor in Cultural Studies from Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts. She successfully completed a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in 2005 from the University of Phoenix.

Additionally, she serves as the Chief Financial Officer of The Girls Action Network (GAN). GAN is a non-profit organization with the mission: (1) TO EMPOWER girls, in grades 7 - 12, to shatter stereotypes and expand their opportunities as they become tomorrow's women; (2) TO PROVIDE services and resources in the areas of career assessment and planning, mentoring, health and fitness, and economic planning for life endeavors; and (3) TO PROMOTE a dialogue among corporations, educational institutions, women, and girls to share common problems, concerns, solutions, and innovation in the vocational arena for girls in the twenty-first century.

Mary Ann currently serves as the VP of Strategy & Planning for the Black Data Processing Associates (BDPA) New Jersey Chapter. She is member of The National Black MBA Association, The National Association for Female Executives, an INROADS Alumnus, and serves on the site committee for the Black Leadership Forum.
